      How to design a workbook that doesn't become a MESS once you start updating it. We'll also use magical tables that "grow" when you add larger datasets.     • The Shortcuts

      There are over 500 shortcuts in Excel but you only need to know less than 20 of them! Using shortcuts quadruples your speed. If you practice right ones, you'll become a ninja.

    • Writing Slick Formulas

      The formulas should be doing the work, NOT YOU! Most importantly they should be EASY to read. Yes, Excel does more than allow you to put stuff in boxes!

    • VLOOKUPS

      They're so useful and almost NOBODY in your office can do them! Once you realize how easy they are, you'll be the Excel STUD of your team. You'll wonder how you used Excel without it.

    • IF Functions

      It's only the MOST IMPORTANT function ever. This gives the formulas the ability to make decisions. This is when Excel becomes powerful.

    • SUMIF and COUNTIF

      The easiest way to get a "subtotal" from a large data set without making a Pivot Table is to use COUNTIF and SUMIF. You should never have to sort your data to figure out a subtotal! I bet MAXIF and AVERAGEIF work the exact same way....

    • The Easy Way to make Pivot Tables

      If you're not using Pivot Tables to summarize you're data, you will DIE once you realize how much unnecessary work you've been doing. Pivot Tables are the best way to summarize your data.

      • Is this class really live? 

        Yes! I will personally be hosting the class LIVE and you'll be able to see me and ask me questions. 

      • How does this work online?

        After you sign up we'll email you a link that will allow you to join the live class, which will be hosted via ZOOM. As long as your internet connection is good enough to watch a YouTube video, you'll have no problem viewing the live class. Once you join, you'll see my live presentation in your web browser (Chrome or Firefox or Safari or whatever you use). During class you'll have the chance the ask questions (typed or spoken through your microphone). If you don't want to use your computer's mic, you can also dial-in on a normal phone and still watch the presentation on your computer.

      • I've been using Excel for years. I need VLOOKUPs and Macros! Shouldn't I be taking your "Advanced Class"?

        No. You've probably been using Excel incorrectly for years. Yes, this is class covers VLOOKUPS. And yes, we will cover the most important features in Excel. But more importantly this class teaches you how to actually design functional spreadsheets. This is something almost NOBODY KNOWS. Most people make a MESS. Read more about that here.

      • What if I registered for class but can't make it?

        All registrants will automatically get an email the night after class with a video recording of the class you missed. You'll have 14 days to watch it! If you have any questions you can always email us.
